Ordering, step by step
Ordering a handmade cake from someone you have never met takes a small leap. Here is everything that happens, in order, so you know exactly what you are getting into before you message me.

You message me
On WhatsApp, with the date, the occasion and how many people. Those three things are enough for me to work with.

I tell you if the date is free
Every cake is baked for one date, so the first thing I check is my week. I come back with options and a price guide.

We agree the design
Flavour, filling, colours, size. Bring references, a loose idea or nothing at all, and I will keep suggesting until you like it.

You confirm it
The date is held once you leave a deposit. The amount and the conditions are agreed in writing before you confirm, never after.

I bake it for your date
I make it close to the day, not weeks ahead. A cake made for one table is put together thinking about how it will reach that table.

I get it to you
I bake from home, so there is no shop to visit. We arrange delivery or a meeting point over WhatsApp once it is confirmed.
How far ahead to ask
I ask for at least 3 days so I can bake without rushing, and the more notice the better if your date falls in a busy season. If you have less, message me anyway: sometimes the day is free.
